How it all started…
I am one of those rare people who decided in high school what I wanted to be when I grew up – and never changed my mind. I still do what I love every day.
My first printed graphic design was my high school graduation announcement. My first company logo design was created in 1991 for AgriConcepts, a business started by my father. Logo design is still my favorite graphic project.
My first job was designing ads and creating the layout for weekly newspapers, eventually managing the layout department for two different papers.
I helped a woman-owned business publish one year of monthly magazines. Then I rebranded her company, managed the office and production workflow as she converted to a quick print shop that grew from her garage to a 3200 square foot facility.
The next step in my career took me to the marketing department of a global corporation, where I designed logos, marketing communications and sales materials, and managed multiple projects; including visual brand style guidelines, enterprise digital asset management system, and MarCom print buying. During an annual evaluation early in this role, I told my manager one of my long-term goals was to be self-employed…
Today I own and operate Evergreene Graphics. I help my clients define their visual branding, and create marketing, sales and event packages from design to delivery. I help build relationships by facilitating networking groups, clubs, workshops, and volunteering – all to help others grow their own businesses and become successful.
Who Am I?
Hi, I'm Kim.
When I’m not working, I love to read, play with my cats and dogs (Blue is the star of my Facebook profile), and travel to Montana to see my daughter and nephew. When I’m not traveling, I enjoy hunting, fishing, riding my motorcycle, and especially going offroad in my Jeep (that’s me at the top of the page!) I spend time with my mom and BF, and enjoy the company of colleagues at the Incubator – what a great place to work!
